Tour of My Classroom and Beginning Sounds

I finally had the opportunity to take pictures of my classroom.  Last week has been C-R-A-Z-Y and I am so glad we only had to work 3 days.  I am loving my 22 kindergartners! They are a sweet bunch.  Here are some pictures of my classroom.

I created a packet that reinforces the use of glue, scissors, and beginning sounds.  These are perfect for the beginning of the school year.

Whew, I'm exhausted after first week of school

We just finished the first week of school.  Boy am I exhausted even though we only had to work 3 days this week.  I have 22 adorable kindergartners.  We did Read to Self on Day 2 and our reading stamina was 30 seconds.  Day 3 it was 6 minutes.  Wahoo! We had a huge celebration and made it a very big deal.  That's all I got right now and I should be posting pictures of my classroom very soon.
